Wellness coordinator, beautician
My education in wellness started in secondary school “Vladimir Prelog Science School” where I was studying to be a cosmetician and I graduated in 1999. About ten years later, in 2008, I enrolled and completed a wellness coordinator program at Vimal wellness school, where I became a wellness coordinator, and a year later I started working as an educator for Vimal, where I educate participants in the wellness massage segment, Facial and body treatments, and standards and protocols in wellness. In the coming years I devoted myself to learning and perfecting various methods, techniques and protocols for the treatment and diagnosis of the face and body. I have attended various courses of world-famous brands like Elemis, Sothys, Decleor, Klapp and others. I also attended training for intensive facial and body treatments that helped me gain a rich experience in unique approach and skin diagnosis. I apply the acquired knowledge in day-to-day management with my clients, and I am perfecting it every day to improve the existing treatments at Ageness Institute.
The skin looks healthy, youthful and attractive if it has a constant amount of moisture and therefore needs to be hydrated daily. The body consists of 70% water, and in each cell of the body there is a certain amount of water that is extremely important for cell metabolism. The skin is aging more rapidly if we do not provide a high level of moisture in the long run. The first signs of skin aging are the appearance of tiny lines and wrinkles that are the first sign of dehydration of the skin. Water levels in skin cells are influenced by a large number of external factors such as too much dry air, stress, poor eating habits, alcohol and smoking. The amount of moisture and oiliness varies and changes through the seasons and is not always the same. It is commonly known that although we have oily skin, it is also necessary to hydrate it. Increased sebum production is often a way in which the body responds to the lack of water in the cells and this is an attempt of the skin to prevent moisture evaporation. The less water in the skin cells, the more the sebaceous glands secrete sebum, to protect the skin from harmful external influences and free radicals. For proper skin care it is necessary to know the amount of level of moisture and oil of the face. Beauticians at Ageness Beauty Institute treat the needs of your skin in an individual way. Before the treatment we carry out a detailed consultation and skin testing with an exclusive portable device for measuring moisture and sebum percentage. The device displays data on the amount of sebum and moisture on the digital display. By testing 4 different spots on the skin, the beautician will analyse the displayed data and offer the necessary treatments for your skin. Cosmetic treatments and products are only effective if they meet the needs of your skin. To make your skin even more beautiful, tell a beautician about the problems you have and what treatment makes the most difference on your skin and why! Describe your current care routine and how you want to improve your skin condition. By knowing what you want and need, our experts will be able to respond to your needs in a much better way.
